Mobile booking made travel planning effortless
Downloaded the Zen app before my solo backpacking trip and it was a game changer. Offline access to booking details came in handy when wifi was spotty. Special mobile rates saved me hundreds during my month long journey

Great value and smooth experience

While searching for affordable stays in Fiji on TripAdvisor, the booking redirected me to Zenhotels.com. At first, it was a bit concerning as I didn't notice the switch right away after payment.
However, everything went smoothly.
The price was the lowest I found, and the service was excellent. I'd definitely consider booking with them again.

- - After a month, I have not received a refund.

Ho subito una truffa da parte di Zen Hotel. Ho fatto una prenotazione presso un hotel con Booking, questi si sono avvalsi di Zenhotels, ma questa prenotazione è risultata inesistente. Ancora oggi dopo un mese non ho recuperato i miei soldi

- - Booking appeared as Zen Hotel via Expedia but was through Airbnb.
- - Airbnb fees and a strict 24-hour cancellation; Zen Hotel must disclose 2nd-party use.
We thought we booked a Zen Hotel suite through Expedia. We didn't realize that the actual booking was made through the Air B&B?!
The whole reason we chose to ho the hotel route was to avoid the pit falls of Air B&B. I've had some very unpleasant experiences with Air B&B rentals, like a $200 linen fee in South Carolina beach house on top of $170 cleaning fee & no refund even when a tropical storm was approaching Edsto Beach. That was just the most egregious instance. There were lots more at various times & places.
So, to discover that Zen Hotel booking was farmed out to Air B&B was EXTREMELY disappointing, to say the least!!
One of the other issues with that platform is their unreasonably restrictive cancellation policy; 24 hours deadline after the initial booking
For all these reasons there needs to be a clear disclosure by the Zen Hotels of their use of 2nd party booking platforms & all that entails. Especially now!!
